Dave uses his experience as a former Naval Reserve Officer to write compelling "Space Navy" stories - exploring leadership, motivation, humanity and world issues. Dave draws from his own life to craft compelling character driven fantasy stories.

Dave had been fascinated with designing computer art for some time. During Covid Dave learned how to do basic computer design work and has continued to hone his skills as a creative outlet.
As a natural consequence, Dave is now selling his art in a number of online stores in well known marketplaces.
Plays bass, sousaphone, trombone and sings in the Toronto based indie folk blues rock band Monkey Fightin' Snakes.

His major fantasy/sci-fi influences include Piers Anthony, Robert A. Heinlein, Isaac Asimov and J. R. R. Tolkien.
Patrick O'Brian and Alexander Kent (Douglas Reeman) have heavily influenced his writing style.
